Frequently Asked Questions
Introducing Tawn Head MA., Intuitive, Therapist, Healer
- How long have you been helping others?
As far back as I can remember I have attracted people to me and they have felt that I was the person that they could trust with their deepest concerns and problems. As a child and teenager this was puzzling. As a young adult I decided that I should do what came naturally and begin to find ways to make this my life's work.
- What lead you to become an intuitive, a healer, a lightworker?
In my life experience it wasn't a matter of choosing to become Intuitive, I think I have always been Intuitive and had to learn how to work with that. I can remember as a small child seeing people in the dark or in the shadows. I was terrified of the dark and did not know what to do with the people that I saw. As a young adult I learned about using candles and guiding them to the light so that they could move on in their journey. Now I always have a 7 day candle burning in my home and where ever I stay. As for readings, that came naturally to me too. I went to a Psychic years ago for my first reading and she would not read for me, she told me to do my own readings. I purchased my first deck of cards and began doing readings right away, it was something I already intuitively knew how to do. As the years have gone by I have become more aware of other skills that I have such as: Clairaudience, Clairvoyance, Clairsentience, Mediumship, Past life readings, and Dream interpretation. As of late I have become very involved in working with the Angels and learning various healing techniques such as Reiki.
- What lead you to become a Therapist?
When I was In my 30's I chose to shift direction from the psychic to the business world with my skills. So, I decided to go to college to become a minister, which eventually lead to becoming a psychotherapist instead. My hope is to always be able to help others to experience more joy in their lives. I feel confident that I have a excellant assortment of tools or skills that will be of use to many who are seeking change or healing in their lives.
- What have you studied and with whom? I have always been interested in Religion, Psychology, the Unexplained, and ongoing education has been important. There is always more to learn, being open to what crosses your path can lead us forward. So in addition to classroom learning I have had many other teachers in my life. My first non-traditional teachers were Dr.Timothy Leary and Dr. Richard Alpert (later known as Baba Ram Dass) for meditation as a child in the mid 60's. As the years went on I was involved with the writings of Ernest Holmes and a series of other wonderful workshop teachers such as: Shakti Gawain, Terry Cole Whitaker, Louise Hay, Wayne Dyer, Tony Robbins, Swami Chidvilasananda, Doreen Virtue, Summer McStravick, Abraham via Esther and Jerry Hicks, and Betsy Morgan.
